Andddd……I’m back. In the good old US of A.

After an amazing 6 months teaching and exploring Asia I have returned to the US recharged, rejuvenated, and yet again wanderlusting.

To recap: Deciding to leave it all behind as a 20-something young professional to teach in Thailand was one of the most difficult decisions I had ever made.  But boy it was absolutely worth it. This blog is now filled with tales, experiences, places, faces and things I could have never dreamed of during my personal and professional journeys in Southeast Asia. I also learned I really, truly love to write. And blog. And muse. And post pretty pictures, quotes and fun videos. And try and be witty while doing it.

So onto the next chapter. Because it isn’t going to end here. I can’t say I know exactly where it’s going yet, but I know it will involve a job (hopefully), more traveling (double hopefully), some laughs (fingers crossed), and a good life (toes crossed).

  1. Hi Alicia! I stumbled upon your blog when I was looking for information about teaching English in Thailand. I’ve spent most of my workday at my boring desk job reading your posts! I am thinking of going to teach in the fall and it’s been neat to hear about your experiences!

  2. I’m so glad you found my blog! Thanks for the follow! I look forward to following along with your journey as a teacher in Thailand! I taught English in Spain for seven months, so I will no doubt enjoy your reflections! I love Thailand and everything Thai culture as well! Great blog!

  3. Hi Alicia, I just got hired on by Anubanchonburi and read through your entire blog from October-March! I’m also 25, from Canada, and it was great to be able to see what I’ll be getting into! Thank you!
